About the Studio
Built around the sitting, not the appointment slot.
Ritu Mahajan started out doing bridal makeup for family and neighbours in Punjab — the kind of word-of-mouth work where a bad finish means an aunty asks about it for a decade. That standard never really left. Today it's the whole studio's standard.
Every artist trains on the same fundamentals: skin prep before product, a base built for the venue's actual lighting, and a finish tested to move, sweat, and smile through a full day — not just hold still for one photograph.
Two studios now carry that training — Mukerian and Datarpur in Punjab — but the plan has stayed the same since the first one: fewer clients per day than we could technically fit, so every sitting gets the time it needs.

Bridal

Bridal bookings run differently from everything else on this site — a proper trial, a fixed artist, and a timeline built backward from your first event, not your last.

Questions people ask before booking.
For wedding-season dates (October–February), 2–3 months ahead is safest — bridal slots are limited per day at each studio. For other occasions, 1–2 weeks is usually comfortable.
Yes. Bridal bookings include a trial session, usually scheduled 2–4 weeks before the event, so the final look is agreed before the day itself.
Yes — each service is booked individually, so you can choose whichever studio and date suits each function.
Your slot is confirmed immediately — there's no waiting on approval. You'll get a confirmation email with your date, time, studio, and service details right away.
At-home and venue services are handled separately from online booking — call your preferred studio directly and the team will advise on availability and travel charges.
Bridal bookings can be rescheduled up to 7 days before the date without charge. Other services can be moved up to 24 hours ahead from your account's booking history.
